Our collaborative project with World Resources Institute Electric School Bus Initiative has been chosen by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for an investment to propel technology integration for net-zero emissions in transportation. This is amongst 16 projects totaling $32.5 million to advance technology integration in areas critical to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector. This project is expected to reduce EV infrastructure soft costs; increase consumer familiarity with EVs and their benefits; demonstrate and deploy novel clean transportation solutions, including electric construction vehicles and school buses; and provide regional clean transportation outreach, education, and training for underserved communities.
