Building a Vision for Martinsville-Henry County in 2050
Last month, our team traveled throughout Martinsville-Henry County, Virginia, to launch community engagement efforts for a long-range Vision 2050 initiative in partnership with The Harvest Foundation.
The goal of this effort is simple but ambitious: develop a shared vision for the future that reflects the values, aspirations, and priorities of the people who live, work, and invest in the region.

To begin that process, Horizon 54 facilitated a variety of engagement opportunities designed to meet residents where they are.
Our team connected with residents in a variety of settings ensuring that a broad range of voices could contribute to the conversation.
The stories, ideas, and perspectives shared during this first phase of engagement will help inform the development of a community-driven vision for the next 25 years.
