Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Training

Our team is working with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission to facilitate a training on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles. CPTED is an approach that focuses on proper design, use, and management of the built environment in order to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, while improving community vitality and overall quality of life. The theory is based on five principles: natural access control, natural surveillance, territoriality, activity support, and maintenance. We will be leading training and workshops, curriculum development, and facilitation on these concepts.
