Charles T. Brown, Founder & CEO of Horizon 54, was recently featured in Streetsblog USA’s article, “‘Diversity’ in Transportation Planning is Under Attack — But These Experts Say It’s More Important Now Than Ever,” alongside three other leading voices in urban planning: Charnelle Hicks of CHPlanning, Cecilia V. Estolano of Estolano Advisors, and Dr. Destiny Thomas of the Thrivance Group. Charles spoke to what firms like ours bring to the table — arguing that real influence, not just a seat at the table, is what separates meaningful diversity from a checkbox.
